Our experienced pedagogical team guides students on their bilingual journey.

With a play-based curriculum divided equally in English and French, our educators use an approach that allows students to explore their interests while growing their academic skills.

Most members of our team are bilingual or trilingual, and all lead teachers have a diploma in early childhood education. As a team, they are dedicated to create a safe, nurturing space to guide your child on their path to Pre-K. Meet our LFC*daycare team below.

Pascale Gontard, Director

Pascale has worked extensively with preschool children in Chicago for 20+ years and joined the daycare at Lycée when it opened in 2023. Pascale is fluent in French and English.

Deja

Deja holds an A.A. in Early Childhood Education and has over 15 years of experience in the field. She has previously worked in a Montessori program, in addition to other daycare centers in Chicago.

Fatima

Fatima has a B.A. in French literature and A.A. in Early Childhood Education. She was born and raised in Algeria, and speaks Arabic, French and English. She worked in the Montessori system before joining LFC*extra at first as a counselor and then as a daycare teacher.

Mary

With an A.A. in Early Childhood Education, Mary started her career as a preschool assistant teacher and joined LFC*daycare at its inception in 2023. Mary speaks 5 languages including English, French and Swahili.

Maria

She holds an A.A. in Early Childhood Education. Originally from Brazil, she lived in France for 18 years before moving to Chicago. With two years of experience working with the LFC*extra program and a background in a Head Start program, Maria is now part of our LFC*daycare Team. She is fluent in French and Portuguese, and also speaks English and Spanish.

Nour

She holds a B.A in Science Education from the University of Geneva. Born and raised in Switzerland, she is fluent in French and English, and also speaks Spanish. Nour previously worked in Preschool before joining the LFC* daycare and has 6 years of experience working with children.
